what we collect

when you join the waitlist, nex collects the email address you submit, the submission time, and basic request metadata such as user agent and referer. this helps us prevent abuse and understand where signups came from.

how we use it

we use waitlist information to contact you about nex access, product updates, launch timing, and related developer information. we do not sell waitlist emails.

local storage in this build

in this local development build, waitlist submissions are appended to data/waitlist.jsonl on the machine running the next.js server. production deployments should replace this with a managed database or email platform.

retention

we keep waitlist information while nex is being developed and launched, unless you ask us to remove it earlier.
